Creating a Child’s Portfolio for a Head Start in School Success - Portfolios help educators begin to construct a well-rounded and authentic picture of a child as a whole, so educators are able to become more effective in their lesson planning for childcare programs to build on individualized strengths of each child and to support their developmental growth.  In this training, we will look at the structure of a portfolio and how children, families, teachers, and administrators can all benefit from this tool. We will also visit the ABC Quality Standard V.E. - Early Learning that supports the purpose of having a Child's Portfolio as part of a program's curriculum structure.
